Welcome to Roasting Water, a charming tea house nestled in the vibrant neighborhood of Long Beach, California. Located at 7561 Carson Blvd, this unique destination is not just a place to grab a drink; it's an experience that combines delightful beverages, a playful atmosphere, and a sustainable ethos.

At Roasting Water, the menu offers a tantalizing selection that caters to both sweet cravings and refreshing thirsts. Specialty lemonades like the Pink Guava Lemonade and Mango Lemonade burst with fruity freshness, perfect for sipping on a sunny day. For those seeking something a bit different, explore their exotic superfruits like Pitaya and Graviola that reintroduce the joy of flavors. The core highlight of their offerings is the creative assortment of frappes and lattes, such as the indulgent White Caramel Frappe and the comforting Almond Hot Chocolate, each crafted to deliver a rich and satisfying taste that lingers long after your last sip.

One of the standout features of Roasting Water is their commitment to sustainability and fun. Each drink comes in a collectible, reusable bottle that adds a nostalgic touch and encourages customers to reduce single-use plastics. According to Ray Castillo Jr., the boba is not only soft and well-made but the price is incredibly reasonable, providing excellent value. Customers are pleasantly surprised to pay just over six dollars for a delicious drink served with a collectible bottle, striking the perfect balance between cost and quality.

The ambiance of the tea house is equally inviting, adorned with unique décor that often features themed collaborations, like their recent partnership with Rilakkuma—an eye-catching touch that adds whimsy to your visit. However, some patrons have noted small operational hiccups, such as menu visibility and service speed during busy periods, but rest assured that the friendly staff is dedicated to creating a warm experience. A review by Adele Soriano highlights the need for a clearer menu display, which could enhance the ordering experience for newcomers.

Despite the few challenges, Roasting Water remains a delightful gem, with excellent reviews praising both the quality of the drinks and the character of the space. The playful panda design is a delightful backdrop as you sip on your favorite boba. Customers like Jimmy Vo rave about the cute presentation and flavors that make every visit a treat. The hustle and bustle of a busy crowd on special occasions, like New Year’s Eve, only adds to the vibrant atmosphere buzzing with excitement.

If you’re looking for a unique drink that marries creativity with community spirit, Roasting Water is a must-visit destination in Long Beach. Don’t miss out on the chance to collect all the adorable bottles while sipping on something sensational. Come for the drinks, stay for the vibe!

Boba was soft and properly made, drink was tasty (I had a Thai Tea), and my drink came with a reusable plastic bottle which was nice. This cost only a little over 6 bucks which I was shocked by. Boba places have gotten a little out of hand with pricing now but this place does a wonderful job keeping that balance with what you get and the price you pay. Service was very friendly and drinks came out quickly. I would come back again!

This place is super unique compared to others I’ve been to. With every drink you buy, you get a collectible bottle, and they’re not just for show. The bottles come with sturdy caps so you can reuse them for just about anything. It’s such a fun idea, and honestly, I’d keep coming back just to collect them all! The boba itself is solid too with good texture and flavor. I came when they had Halloween-themed bottles, which are cute, but I’m really hoping they bring back the exercise-themed ones. Those were amazing! @__@

Average tea house, the most memorable part is the cups. Inside the shop, the menu is only at the checkout, wish it was larger or posted in another area. Can't see the menu until you are ordering and they seemed annoyed that we didn't know exactly what we wanted when we got to the front of the line, but had no clue what was offered until you made it to the front.

drinks are really good and the bottles are adorable! the collaboration they happened to be doing was with rilakkuma and it was adorable! i find that the prices are good for a good drink plus the cute bottles :). aside from that, i went in on new years eve (pretty big crowd) and one of the workers seemed a bit impatient nonetheless it's still a really nice place

The servers were excellent. The drinks are delicious. The store is new. No place to sit inside. My drink order was taken correctly, but it was not made as the order. A small mistake, but still a mistake. I realized this mistake only after I left the store on the freeway, darn. Otherwise, it's pretty darn good.

Good Thai tea with boba inside a cute panda bottle! The container that comes with the drink is pretty cute - I love the design. The Thai tea tasted good as well. The shop is pretty cute and has a lot of panda design which is cute and I like it. Definitely a place that I would come back!
